Where It Began

A father. Two kids. And a corn dog.

It didn't start in a commercial kitchen or with a business plan. It started at the dinner table — watching two young faces light up over something hot, crispy, and pulled fresh from the fryer.

I'm not a chef by training. I'm a father who cooks. And like most parents, I cook because I love the people I'm feeding.

But somewhere between the school runs and the weekend meals, something shifted. I started thinking: what if I could turn this into something they could one day call theirs?

Not About Grades

I never needed my children to top the class.

I know that sounds strange coming from a Singaporean dad — but hear me out. What I wanted for them was simpler and, honestly, harder than getting straight As.

I wanted them to know how to try. To fail. To learn from that failure, shake it off, and try again. I wanted them to understand that a mistake in the kitchen — a burnt batch, a wrong ratio, an overcooked fry — is not a disaster. It's a lesson with a receipt.

Entrepreneurship is not something you read about in a textbook. You live it. You feel it in the long prep hours, in the orders that go wrong, in the customers who come back a second time — and that's when you know you got something right.

The SuppZer0 Method

Why corn dogs? Why frozen?

Because I believe in doing one thing properly before doing many things adequately.

We perfected the recipe first. We got the batter right. We learned which mozzarella stretches the way it should. We figured out the freezing point where flavour is locked at its peak — not compromised, not diminished. Frozen right is not frozen less.

And our ingredients? They come from the same places you shop. Local supermarkets. The neighbourhood provision shop. We believe in accessible, honest sourcing — not exotic imports or premium-branded packaging that inflates the price before it even reaches your plate. Good food doesn't need to be mysterious about where it comes from.

Then we built the method: prepare fresh, freeze at peak, air-fry to order. Hot, crispy, and ready for pickup in about 20 minutes. No half-measures. No shortcuts that the customer can taste.

SuppZer0 is a name with a story too. Sub-zero — the temperature that locks in everything we worked for. And the zero? That's where every story starts. From nothing, with everything to prove.

For Them

My children are learning alongside this business.

They see the early mornings. They hear the calls. They help pack, they watch me troubleshoot, and sometimes — when things don't go to plan — they see me sit with it, figure it out, and move forward.

That's the real curriculum.

I don't need them to inherit a perfect business. I need them to inherit a way of thinking — that problems are problems, not dead ends. That showing up matters more than being the smartest in the room. That building something from scratch, even imperfectly, is one of the most valuable things a person can do.

If SuppZer0 Bites becomes theirs one day, I hope what they inherit is not just a brand — but the story of how it was built, and the courage it took to start.

Our Promise

Every order that leaves our kitchen carries this story with it.

We cook with care because there are real people on the other end of every order. We freeze with precision because we respect your time and your appetite. We air-fry to order because we refuse to serve you anything less than what we'd serve at our own table.

This is not just food. This is a father's lesson, passed forward — one corn dog at a time.

Welcome to SuppZer0 Bites. We're glad you're here.

A Note on Our Hours

We ask for your patience and understanding — and a little grace.

SuppZer0 Bites is not a full-time operation. Not yet. Like many things worth building, it runs alongside the demands of everyday life — day jobs, school drop-offs, enrichment classes, homework. When the children are in school and the schedule allows, we open. When life calls us elsewhere, we don't.

We know this is unconventional. We know it can be frustrating if you show up and we're not available. For that, we are genuinely sorry — and genuinely grateful that you thought of us at all.

For now, our tentative hours are Monday and Thursday, 11am to 3pm, with last orders at 2:30pm. But please check our WhatsApp or social media before heading over — availability changes without notice and we would rather you confirm first than make an unnecessary trip.

This is part of the story. A business learning to walk before it runs. We hope you'll grow with us.
